Spain and Barcelona star, Andres Iniesta has become the first Barcelona and Spain player to win the Golden foot award.
The Barcelona midfielder was named ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Manuel Neuer, Andrea Pirlo, Thiago Silva Franck Ribery, Yaya Toure, Thierry Henry and Brazilian female player Marta as winner of the award on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the ceremony which was held in Monaco, France.
The name of Argentina superstar, Lionel Messi was missing from the 2014 Golden Foot award, an international football award given to players who stand out for their athletic achievements both as individuals and team players and for their personality.
